Documents to go

I am unable to download/synch an excel spreadsheet to my phone. The obvious connection is the desktop and there is no place (that I have found) to drag and drop a file to synch to the phone. What am I missing?

In the notifications bar on the top of your screen, pull it down and tap the usb logo. Then tap-turn on.
