I'd rooted my phone since it released.

I'm currently running hero rom by ttran. there is a lot of DEV that make Hero rom, but you have to put one that you like (everybody have different taste).

Bluetooth should work on some rom, not all.

there are other rom beside Hero based on 1.6 Donuts with a lot of makeover/mode/faster/...

good lluck

My phone

That's exactly what I mean your current spl is preventing you from rooting the phone.

1) turn off ur phone
2) fastboot by holding vol down & power
3) should be a white screen with 3 android skaters
4) should look something like this
      SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H
HBOOT-1.33.0009 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
May 8 2009,21:02:32

5) post it on this thread and I'll be figure out what up.

ok reg442 you have the same exact build as I do you gotta downgrade to cupcake 1.5 then do the oneclick method. follow the instructions from the unlockr, here's the link http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/15/how-to-root-a-donut-phone-android-1-6/ the new recovery image should work. lemme know how it turns out.

Did the Flashrec.apk work? make sure u turn off spell correction so it doesnt change any of the /sdcard/recovery file. upper or lower case doesnt matter, be sure u typed evrythng in right, no spaces. I get home around 7pm westcoast time. hit me up on gtalk round then and I'll help walk u thru it.

i just upgraded to RA's v1.2.3 took me 5 times to get it right missed a space.

ok so hero roms are pretty slow with stock sdcard need a class 6 card. read up on how to use the swapper app. Start with cyanogens rom 4.1.9999 extremely fast make sure u run ext3 or 4, ext2 causes it run slow. check out cyanogenmod.com
