mytouch gallery

im new , had mytouch 3 g for about 2 months , cant get into photo gallery, it force closes , also problem with overheat it seems battery gets hot sometime , started lagging ,on searches etc, was working great, and i havnt downloaded many apps , just a few free ones, gonna take it back and see what can be done , my daughter got me into smartphones, love them , ive tried iphone, droid and eris, had behold  11 it was great but couldnt get it to come on some times with out cutting it off, i was likeing the 3 g up till now,  all i like to do is check email , get on youtube , and browse a bit on web, im from north ga. above atlanta about 50 miles, 58 yrs old, formerly just used pay as i go phones, love the touch screen, ive researched a lot , wish i had stuck with i phone now, really like the nexus one, but havnt tried it yet , the htc hd2 is awsume , i play lead guitar, sing ,
