If you're set on rooting ur phone dont upgrade to 1.6, cause ur gonna have to downgrade back to 1.5 in order to hack/root it. IMO if ur not familiar with the phone upgrade to 1.6 play with it for a few weeks figure out u like it like as is. rooting is really cool but not for everyone, u can brick ur phone.
