Just want to give a quick hello to everyone.  I have had my MT3G for 4 days, and so far it has been n experience.  I also use Blackberry, and have for years, so lets just say...its different, lol

I must say that some of the terminology is confusing....words like ROOT, Cupcake, Donut.....I dont have a clue, lol

Welcome to the forum glad to have you!

Root is a techie term which means to gain access to the internal workings of the phone.

If you have root access to your phone you're able to download and run custom software on it called roms.
