rooting a perfect spl

i really need some help here. ive been googling and youtubing but cant find definite answers to rooting a perfect spl. im also confused because the rom i want to use, Super D, is said to be using 1.6 so im not sure if the spl flash or radio flash is required.

can a perfect spl be flashed too?

im really upset from how laggy the phone is at times and confused with all these spl versions and radios. help Sad

hboot- 1.33.0006
radio- 2.22.19.261

good question. sounds like you've done some research.

is your phone currently rooted?

i think its a no go... i found this on one of the links you gave me:

"Haykuro quote : "T-Mobile myTouch : 1.33.0006 and 1.33.0010 is the dreaded "perfected" SPL".
This means that it's currently not possible to run "fastboot boot image" on these SPL's, so don't try to flash them."

I don't think death spl is required for super D's rom as I have seen a number of members on xda with 1.33.0006 spl running his rom with no problems. If your phone is already rooted give it a try (it wont brick your phone!). if it doesnt work you can always fall back to cyanogens or dwang's they dont require an engineering spl.
